Homes For Heroes Ltd was set up on the 15th October 2008 by former Gunner Officers; Ken McMillan and Ewen McAulay. The initial aim is to procure affordable housing for members of the Armed Forces while they are still serving. This initiative is aimed at providing a home for when the soldier eventually leaves the forces and prevent them from being subjected to council waiting lists. A fundamental principle is to give 20% of all profit to service based charities of which the homeless issue is a key concern. We hope that this figure will exceed £1million annually. The country is moving deeper into recession, which is directly linked to the decreasing value of property. The lower values of property coupled with falling interest rates has given rise to unprecedented opportunities for first time buyers and property investors to take advantage of favourable market conditions. During these difficult times the Armed Forces are in the ideal position of having guaranteed jobs with guaranteed incomes. For more information visit their website. |
